I've recently learned that DeviantArt's founder, Jark, was fired from DeviantArt without explanation and as discretely as possible. I've also seen screenshots of threads here that were removed because Jark or others had expressed their concerns.

Personally, Jark has been an ally at many different times in my hobby of skinning, either through comment, suggestion, or by selecting one of my skins as a featured piece. His contributions to the digital art and skinning communities are immeasurable and of lasting effect in supporting budding artists, providing feedback, as well as creating an environment which fostered collaboration, creative thinking, and friendship.

To see a visionary and found like Jark treated this way by the product he gave birth too is like watching a fetus abort its own mother. This outrageous and unacceptable treatment are not to be forgotten.

In lieu of these recent events, I have decided no longer to contribute my works or comments here at DeviantArt. My apologies to any whom this decision impacts. I will still actively maintain my own site, [link] [link] which will continue to host all my works as well as the contributed skins and works of others.

My condolensces to Jark, as well as my gratitude for the personal support he has offered multiple times over the years, and for the noble assistance he has provided to many communities all over the net. Jark, you have my sympathies and support!
